This website is operated by MOUJ. Throughout the website, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to MOUJ.

By visiting our website, purchasing from us, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return and Refund Policy.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the website or place an order.

1. Online Store Terms

By using this website, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement or that you are using the website with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

You may not use our products or website for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose.

You must not transmit viruses, malicious code, or any material that may damage, interrupt, or interfere with the operation or security of the website.

2. Products and Materials

MOUJ creates made-to-order fine jewelry using materials described on each product page, including solid 18K gold, natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, gemstones, and other materials where specified.

As each piece is individually made, slight variations in weight, measurements, stone appearance, color, finish, and craftsmanship may occur. These natural and handmade variations are not considered defects.

Product photographs are intended to represent each design as accurately as possible. However, colors and proportions may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, and the size selected.

Gold weights, diamond carat weights, dimensions, and other specifications described as “approximately” or “approx.” are estimates and may vary slightly in the completed piece.

3. Made-to-Order Production

Unless otherwise stated, all MOUJ jewelry is made to order.

Our standard production and delivery timeframe is approximately two to three weeks from the date the order and payment are confirmed. Customized or highly detailed pieces may require additional time.

Any estimated production or delivery date is provided as a guide and is not a guaranteed deadline. Delays may occasionally occur because of material sourcing, customization, quality control, courier operations, customs processing, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

4. Orders and Acceptance

After placing an order, you will receive an electronic confirmation. This confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

We reserve the right to decline, limit, or cancel an order where:

• A product or material is unavailable.
• The price or product information contains an obvious error.
• Payment has not been authorized or completed.
• We suspect fraudulent or unauthorized activity.
• We are unable to complete the requested customization.
• The order breaches these Terms of Service.

Where we cancel an order after payment has been received, the applicable amount will be refunded through the original payment method.

5. Customer Information

You agree to provide complete, accurate, and current information when placing an order, including your name, email address, telephone number, billing information, delivery address, jewelry size, selected materials, and customization details.

MOUJ is not responsible for errors, delays, additional charges, or unsuccessful delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

6. Custom and Personalized Orders

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing and confirming all customization details before production begins. This includes, where applicable:

• Ring, bangle, bracelet, or chain size.
• Gold color and finish.
• Diamond or gemstone selection.
• Arabic or English letters and spelling.
• Left-hand or right-hand orientation.
• Engravings and other personalized details.

Once confirmed and placed into production, customized or personalized details generally cannot be changed.

MOUJ is not responsible for an incorrect fit, spelling, letter, orientation, or customization where the final piece matches the information confirmed by the customer.

7. Pricing and Payment

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website or during checkout. Currency conversion rates may vary depending on the customer’s payment provider, card issuer, bank, or Shopify Markets.

Applicable UAE VAT will be charged where required. International customers may also be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other destination-country charges.

Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods made available at checkout or through an authorized MOUJ payment link.

We reserve the right to correct pricing, typographical, or product-description errors. Where an error affects an order already placed, we will contact the customer before proceeding.

8. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 15 minutes of placement by contacting MOUJ immediately.

After this period, cancellation cannot be guaranteed because made-to-order production, material allocation, or customization may have begun.

Approved cancellations will be processed to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

Nothing in this section limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

9. Returns and Refunds

Due to the made-to-order and personalized nature of our jewelry, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for:

• A change of mind.
• Incorrect sizing selected or provided by the customer.
• Incorrect customization details confirmed by the customer.
• Normal handmade or natural variations.
• Damage caused by misuse, improper care, accidental impact, unauthorized repair, or ordinary wear.

This does not affect the customer’s rights where an item arrives damaged, contains a manufacturing defect, or is materially different from the order confirmed by MOUJ.

10. Shipping and Delivery

Orders within the United Arab Emirates are delivered through a local courier.

International orders are shipped through DHL Express or another suitable courier where necessary.

Delivery estimates begin after production has been completed and the order has been dispatched. Delivery periods are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, customs procedures, public holidays, weather, security checks, or other circumstances beyond our control.

11. Customs Duties and Import Charges

International orders may be subject to customs duties, VAT, import taxes, clearance charges, or brokerage fees imposed by the destination country.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee and are the responsibility of the recipient.

MOUJ does not control these charges and cannot guarantee the amount assessed by customs authorities.

If a recipient refuses delivery or fails to pay applicable import charges, any return shipping, customs, storage, or administrative costs may be deducted from any amount eligible for refund, subject to applicable law.

12. Intellectual Property

All content appearing on this website—including the MOUJ name, logo, jewelry designs, product names, photographs, videos, illustrations, graphics, written content, packaging, and visual identity—is owned by or licensed to MOUJ.

No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, published, commercially used, or presented as another party’s work without prior written permission from MOUJ.

Purchasing a MOUJ product does not transfer any intellectual-property rights in the design.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may include services or links provided by third parties, including Shopify, payment providers, social-media platforms, WhatsApp, and delivery companies.

We are not responsible for the availability, policies, content, or independent actions of third-party services. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

14. Website Accuracy and Availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the website accurate and available. However, we do not guarantee that all information will always be complete, current, or free from technical errors.

We may update, suspend, remove, or modify website content, prices, products, collections, and services without prior notice.
